As we launch our family blog this weekend (12/15/07), we realize that we are all very much in the mode of anticipation. We are eagerly awaiting Christmas, and are preparing our home and hearts for its arrival.
We are also anticipating the completion of Nathan’s room “makeover”. This room desperately needed plaster and lathe wall repairs as well as painting. For now Nathan and all of his belongings and furniture are squeezed into our spare room as Steve makes progress on this project in his “spare” time.
We are also anticipating the first blizzard of the season. As you can see from the pictures, we closely monitor the weather at the Hesler household.
We’ve been to the store, and have enough bread and milk to last us until Monday (we’ll have plenty of milk and toast). For now we will hunker down and see what “gifts” mother nature delivers.
