Nathan’s class is beginning to work on book reports. While his first assignment was to be ready to tell about the beginning, middle and end of a book, Nathan insisted on writing it all down. As you will see in the report below, he put his heart and soul into this project. We are very proud of his efforts, and his teacher was pleased too!

Snowmen At Night, by Caralyn Buehner, Pictures by Mark Buehner
One day a boy made a snowman. The next day he didn’t look the same. The boy started to wonder what snowmen do at night. They wait for all the others while they sip cups of ice cold cocoa made by snowmen mothers, then the games began. They raced, and they skated, they made snow angels, and they played a baseball game and they had the world’s best snowball fight, then they sledded down the hill once or twice. Finally they were tuckered out so they went home. Now you know what snowmen do at night. The End.

Great Job Nathan!!!
When we went to visit our friend, Ken Buehner, in the hospital last week, he was telling us about a collection of children’s books he has written by Mark Buehner. Mrs. Vito found him the first one and continues to look for more to add to his collection.
He assumes that Mark Buehner is a distant relative of his, but Ken has never tried to contact him.
Reading Nathan’s book report, it sounds like Mark Buehner is a great author. XXXX
Great book report, Nathan!! Keep up the good work!
